General Manager– Kimberly Akins

Kimberly has been with STHI since the beginning of 2017. She is usually the cheerful voice on the phone and does all the scheduling for our inspectors. She loves working with clients and Real Estate Professionals to better educate them on the homes they are buying/selling as far as inspections. Kimberly is from Dallas, Texas, and started her career in the transportation industry as one of the first women to be in outside sales in Dallas, TX. Her sales success lead to National Accounts and Sales Management. She was the first woman to ever win the President’s Award in Sales and became President of the Women’s Transportation Club. Upon moving to Sugar Hill in 2004 she became a marketing and sales consultant, primarily to the home improvement industry. Her clientele reached across several states, yet one of her most notable was Home Depot in Atlanta. She coordinated their in-store marketing and lead procurement programs in 25 Atlanta area stores. She and her husband have one daughter, Dallas, and a tiny 4lb rescue Pomeranian that goes almost everywhere with her! She has become the STHI mascot! Coming to Sure Thing Home Inspections as General Manager is exactly what she had been looking for as to not travel as much and spend more time near home.
